A brand new game engine featuring 80 unique caves.
Diamond Dan has new abilities, power-ups, bombs, swords and giant mutated spiders to deal with! Is he still up to it?
Rock Crush II is recorded on both sides of the tape. Side B features a 20% faster loading version which is still compatible with the Sinclair ROM LOAD command!
The program consists of two parts: The first part checks for extra RAM in the 8K-16K area and if present uses it to install enhanced sound effects for users with AY / ZON X sound hardware.
The second part is the actual game.
Upon loading, select which of the 4 different cave systems Dan will enter.
Each system consists of 20 caves divided into 4 sections. This is a once only choice - a reload is required to change it!
Dan’s goal is to mine every diamond before heading for the exit to the next cave. Falling rocks, giant spiders and their deadly webs all block your path. Help is at hand though...
Pick up bombs to blast away rocks, make use of secret tunnels and find Power Diamonds to boost strength for a short while to push aside rocks.
Fighting spiders is a risky business unless you unearth a buried sword to defend yourself with. Keep an eye out for gold bars to add to your riches and earn a bonus for mining all earth.
There is a limited air supply in each cave, so release trapped air pockets to top it up.

Rock Crush II runs on a standard 16K ZX81, but also supports colour via the Chroma interface, sound via AY / ZON X devices (enhanced if 8K-16K area RAM is present) and a joystick via the Chroma or ZXpand interfaces.
This game features a high quality Pseudo High Res display - almost SPECTRUM quality resolution - It requires no hardware modification to work and runs on a standard ZX81 with 16K (or greater) RAM pack.

As this is a manual process, please allow up to a few days for the files to be sent. It comes with a digital user manual for the game that details ZXpand and emulator setup.
